Mt. Seorak National Park

Upon arrival, you will ride the Seorak cable car to Gwongeumseong peak (670m above sea level), which provides views of Inner Mt. Seorak, Ulsanbawi Rock, and the East Sea. The cable car station is about 5 minutes from the entrance. The ride itself takes10 minutes and offers breathtaking views of the park and mountains.

Sinheungsa Temple

You can also view beautiful Buddhist temples hidden within the mountain, most notably Sinheungsa Temple. Sinheungsa is a short 10-minute walk from the entrance to Sogongwon. In fact, many visitors come because it is so close to Sogongwon. You can also see a local landmark, the 33-foot-high bronze Buddha statue at Sinheungsa Temple.

Nami Island

Next, you will head to Nami Island, which was formed as a result of the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam. It is a half-moon-shaped isle located 63 km away from Seoul and is famous for its beautiful tree-lined roads. Since it is not far from Seoul, many couples and families come to visit. This island is also well-known as the filming location for the Korean drama 'Winter Sonata'.

You can enter Nami Island by riding the exciting Zip Wire. This thrilling 'SKY ROAD' ride offers stunning aerial views of the beautiful landscape on the Bukhan River.
