Han River Cycling Expedition
Overview
The 28 km long Jungang Line abandoned railway section that runs from Paldang in Namyangju to Yangpyeong is the most beautiful bike path in the country. As you ride along the neatly paved bike path that used to be a rusty train track, you will come across a nostalgic simple station that serves as a rest area. A bicycle trip where you can see and experience Korea's simple but beautiful nature and countryside with local people will be an unforgettable memory.
Tour Highlights
Han River (Hangang) Bicycle Path
From Paldang to Yangpyeong, cycle along a 28 km abandoned railroad track dating back to the Japanese Colonization Period, discontinued in 2008. A series of tunnels hold a cool temperature in summer. Dumulmeori — where the North and South Rivers meet — is famous as a filming and photoshoot location, with good eats and aesthetic cafes along the path.
